Each month different programs and plays will be presented at the Kabukiza Theatre. Therefore information and prices will vary for Single Act Tickets. Details for each month's Single Act Tickets will be decided by the first performance date of the month and will be announced on the website. Information will also be available at the Single Act Box Office.

Please note that due to the new Single Act ticketing system and new facilities and services, the Single Act Box Office opening time and seating procedure may change in order to facilitate the process. Changes will be announced accordingly.

Located on the 5th Floor of Kabukiza Tower (the high-rise connected to the Kabukiza Theatre) the KABUKIZA GALLERY opened on April 24. The opening exhibit entitled 'Elegance of Kabuki SPRING' celebrates the arrival of spring with abundant cherry blossoms hanging from the ceilings (a typical form of decoration used on stage), various floral designs used for the set décor, and elaborate costumes worn in Kyokanoko Musume Dojoji. Also items such as props, instruments, and wigs that usually cannot be seen up close are on display, as well as beautiful set drawings that are still used today in kabuki to plan each performance.

You saw the play once, but it was so amazing that you want to see it again? 
You have some free time after visiting the Tsukiji Fish Market or shopping and dining in Ginza and happen to be in the neighborhood? 
All of these sound like a good reason to catch a kabuki play by purchasing a Single Act ticket - a Hitomaku-Mi.

Single Act tickets allow you to purchase tickets on the day without reservations, directly at the Box Office located on the ground level of the Kabukiza Theatre.

<Instructions and General Rules (for April, May, June 2013)>
1. Single Act Box Office is located on the left side of the main entrance to Kabukiza Theatre on the ground level. 
2. Single Act tickets will be sold on the day of the performance (Single Act tickets cannot be reserved or purchased in advance)
3. One person can purchase only 1 ticket for each PLAY. 
4. Tickets can be purchased for consecutive plays from the same PART. 
5. You cannot purchase tickets for 2 different PARTS (e.g. if you are in line to buy a ticket for Part I, you cannot buy tickets for Part II or Part III at the same time).
6. Tickets will be sold in the order of the program. The first PLAY for each PART will be sold 30 minutes before the performance begins. The second/third PLAY will be available 15 minutes after the first PLAY begins. Please check the NEWS section for the specific time that the tickets will be sold at the Box Office for each month.
7. There are 96 Seats and 60 Standing Places for the Single Act (Total 156), located on the fourth floor of the auditorium. The seats are NOT ASSIGNED.
8. Payment in CASH ONLY, no credit cards accepted.

<After your purchase>
Tickets will be individually numbered. A staff will call out the numbers to allow you to enter the auditorium and choose a seat/place. Please come to the lobby located on Level 4, 20 minutes before the PLAY begins.

<Services>
- Earphone-Guide (English) is available for Single Act viewers. Rental counter is located in the lobby on Level 4.
- Rental cost is 500 Japanese Yen / Single PART, refundable deposit is 1,000 Japanese Yen/receiver.

<General Rules>
- It is strictly forbidden to take photographs, make recordings or videotape during the performances.
- Smoking is prohibited in the auditorium. 
- Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged after purchase.
- Single-Act ticket holders do not have access to the other levels in the main theater (auditorium), including shops and restaurants located on Level 1, 2, and 3.
- Single Act ticket holders who have purchased consecutive tickets may remain in their seats during intermission, and customers are permitted to eat and drink at their seats during the intermission.
